The Garden route is a nature lovers paradise with scenic beaches, walking trails in riverine forest, lakes and rivers and Wilderness National Park. There are wonderful day outing opportunities from the estate.

Head North to Tsitsikamma and enjoy the terror of the World highest bungi Jump and the exhilaration of canopy rides before riding an elephant or strolling through the Birds of Eden – a bird enclosure which is larger than the UK Millenium Dome!

Take a leisurely drive to Knysna and enjoy a tour around the World famous lagoon on one of the Featherbed Ferries before being dropped off for a hike around the Western Head – all rounded off by a scrumptious lunch before being ferried back to reality.

Meander down to Mossel Bay and the excitement of encountering a Great White Shark up close, or head over the Outeniquas to Oudtshoorn and the splendour of the Cango Caves.

Whale watching (August – Oct), paragliding and surfing are all available along the Wilderness coastline, whilst the surrounding Garden Route offers numerous championship golf courses.
